How big is Singapore?

Singapore is an island roughly the size of the Twin Cites Metro area. There are other tiny islands that are part of Singpore which are too small to really mention. It is separated from Malaysia (north) and Indonesia (south) by straits (wider than rivers, narrower than oceans).
