Video Games

Arcades and Video Games are taken a bit more seriously here in Asia. Liam’s not quite big enough to operate or understand most of them, (frankly, I don’t understand many of them either) but they do have a miniature bowling game that he thinks is pretty cool.
Today was kind of overcast so we hung out in the mall looking for stuff to do. We gave the Wiggles car another go and looked for some furniture (no real luck).
On the bright side, we found out that the water main broke in the basement of our house in St. Paul while they were trying to “winterize” it. Our inevitable basement remodelling project may happen earlier than we expected. Also, the shipment containing our furniture and 95% of our other stuff has been delayed a couple of weeks, so we’ll be in our temporary serviced apartment for a couple more weeks. The real bummer is that they’ll be closing the pool for repairs in November which will leave us with one less free-time fun option. Looks like we’ll have to do some exploring for more entertainment opportunities.
