All Quiet

Now for the down time. The nurse recommended that we get some sleep but neither of us feel like sleeping, although we’re both exhausted. The monitor is chugging away indicating the ebb and flow of the contractions and the baby’s heart rate, which goes up during the contractions. The epidural is doing the trick and Christina is much more comfortable now. We should probably get some rest.
