New Arrival

I got a call from my buddy Barry from Omaha today. Apparently our good friend, in fact one of my oldest friends from grade school, Jeff Honke and his lovely wife Lisa had their first baby last week.
So welcome to the world Axel Edward Honke.
Maybe someday I can bust you and Nolan for drinking peach schnapps with a couple of girls outside Rosenblatt Stadium after you call for me to come pick you up when the car breaks down at 1 a.m… unless Axel is wise enough to stuff the bottle down the front of his pants.

***UPDATE***
I just got an update from Barry that Jeff and Lisa’s son’s name is Ansel, not Axel. However, from this day forward he will always be Axel to me.
