(Not So) Late Breaking News

Here’s a brief run-down of what we’ve been up to the last few weeks:

I was in the U.S. for about a week and a half visiting friends and family and stocking up on Crest toothpaste and Clif bars. (Thanks to everyone for making time to see me and a Super Special Thanks to those that let me crash at their places.)

Christina and I went furniture shopping and bought a couple of antique teak cabinets and an endtable. Not that exciting, but we spent loads of time doing it, so I thought it earned a mention.

Liam’s school went for pony rides.

Our friend Susan missed us so much that she moved from St. Paul to Singapore (indeed, into our apartment building). Her job may have had something to do with the move too.

Liam attended his friend Cara’s Birthday Party. It was quite the social engagement with a Bouncy Castle, Pinatas… the whole 9 yards. Nolan crashed it as well.

One of my fantasy football teams (Kung Fu Grip) is dominating it’s league, while in another league my reigning champion team (Hello Kitty) is sitting at or near last place. My fantasy soccer team (Liverham Hotpool) is beginning its slow, steady descent in the standings after a hot start to the season. I’m sure everyone is extremely interested in all of this.

I went to India for the 2006 Jimmy Carter Work Project.
In brief, it was a big success and a great experience. I’ll sum it up in an additional post.
To answer everyone’s burning question… yes, I saw Brad Pitt.

Christina has been in China and India for the last week and a half. She returns tomorrow. I think I speak on behalf of all of us that we’re looking forward to getting back to normal around here.
