Pulau Ubin

We spent a Saturday biking around Pulau Ubin a few weeks ago. Pulau Ubin is a smallish island which is still part of Singapore. You need to hop on a bumboat/water taxi to get across the strait. It was some pretty unchallenging biking as all the paths are wide and well paved… for the most part. Liam and Nolan got lots of smiley looks from the locals with lots of comments like “so cute lah!”… a similar reaction to what you’d get if you were carrying a box of puppies around in the U.S. They’re pretty used to the fawning attention. We’re just worried about how the’ll make the adjustment to being just another couple of blonde kids when we move* back to Minnesota.
