melbourne… and points south

Christina and I spent a quick weekend with our friends Duncan and Aileen in Melbourne. They scheduled a fantastic getaway at a cottage on the south shore near The Twelve Apostles (see photo above). Duncan even whipped up some homemade rack of lamb! We toured the Great Ocean Road and had lunch at a winery where I ate some kangaroo. When we returned to Melbourne we made a quick stop at the casino and met Jeff (one of my rowing buddies from college) for a beer.

Okay, in response to your “mini feed”
a)the coffee is extremely expensive, and you are adventurous, but come on “feces – Think Folgers!
b) Facebook – not funny, you shouldn’t be posting anything you wouldn’t want your mother to read:)
c) Why are my grandsons in a pool without life jacket and/or water wings?
