Hello Duckboat

Christina was out of town for a couple of weeks in January, so to offset the boredom, the boys and I went for a ride on the Duckboat. Normally it’s just a touristy thing to do, but it was actually pretty interesting. They take you on a ride from Suntec City shopping mall to the Kallang Basin/Resevoir where you enter the water. From there you tour past the Singapore Flyer, the Esplanade and the Merlion fountain/statue. Then it’s back out of the water and a quick drive past the Padang (sports field), Raffles Hotel and a couple other points of interest. The tour guide was pretty good… not too cheesy, and I actually learned a couple of things about Singapore.
It killed one afternoon anyway.

Dear Liam,
It’s really bad winter here. The snow is melting because its raining. Happy Valentine’s Day. I play soccer too, since you play soccer. My team is the purple team. We play at Linwood Rec. I don’t like that my little sister destroys my things. I do like my little sister because she’s funny. When are you coming back to Minnesota?
Love,
Skyler
